Al Qaeda Operative Wanted to Kill FBI Agents

A high-level al Qaeda associate in U.S. custody tried to turn himself into a sort of Trojan horse, secretly plotting to kill U.S. agents he appeared to be cooperating with, according to a sentencing memorandum recently unsealed.
